Free vs Pro

On the Free plan you get unlimited dictation with any local Whisper model, custom vocabulary, text replacements, and up to two modes. Nothing you dictate leaves your device. Pro adds the cloud models, the faster and more accurate local models, and everything that runs your dictation through AI: Super and the other AI modes, context awareness, realtime, and speaker separation.
New users get 3000 words of free access to all Pro features. When that runs out, the app falls back to the Free plan; nothing is deleted.

  • Non-profits: 40% off list price for verified non-profit and charitable organizations
To request a discount, email support@superwhisper.com from your academic or organization email with proof of status. Verification happens first, so request the discount before you purchase.
Discounts apply to purchases on superwhisper.com, including Monthly, Annual, and Lifetime plans and Enterprise list pricing. They can’t be applied to App Store purchases, aren’t stackable with other discounts, and aren’t applied retroactively to charges already made.

Where to buy

  1. Superwhisper website (recommended): buy at superwhisper.com. Lower price, your key arrives by email, and we can help with any purchase issue.
  2. iOS App Store: buy inside the iPhone app. Higher price due to Apple’s fees. Your key is in the app under Settings → Superwhisper Pro → Reveal License Key; use it to activate on Mac and Windows.
  3. Google Play: buy inside the Android app. Higher price due to Google’s fees.
We can’t manage App Store or Google Play billing, refunds, or subscriptions on our end. Contact Apple Support or Google Play Support for those.

Do I need separate licenses for Mac, Windows, and iPhone?

No. One Pro license works on all platforms.

Can I use my license on multiple computers?

Yes. There’s no device limit for Mac and Windows computers.

I lost my license key (including Lifetime). Can I recover it?

Yes. Any license type can be recovered, and Lifetime keys never expire. See find or recover a lost license key.

Do my custom modes sync between devices?

By default they are stored per device. On macOS, Filesync syncs configuration between your Macs. Windows and iOS sync are planned.

Do you offer student discounts?

Yes: 40% off for verified students, faculty, and academic institutions, and the same for non-profits. See Discounts for how to request it.
